Fabio D'Aroma

Fabio D’Aroma was born in Pescara, Italy in 1973 graduating from Rome’s Academia di Belle Arti in 1997 after completing thesis studies on Caravaggio. Starting in 2001, he worked in the United States spending the majority of his time in New York, but also Chicago, Miami and Houston. In 2008 he created Retrocorionica scanning and digitally assembling a collection of his oil paintings that shared a format and thus could be joined to create a frieze; the result ironically combined historical techniques with the necessity of technology. D’Aroma has exhibited at galleries across America and Europe and currently lives and works in New York City.
